I do not like to run and don't have the time or money to join a gym. I would like to stay fit with a simple workout. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

you can get a jump rope and believe me that is really going to work your heart. Or an exercise video. or just walking. I think if you move more than usual anything will help good luck

Just do some form of cardiovascular exercise any time you get a chance, even if you just walk around a little. Walk to places where you would normally drive. Don't get the closest parking space. The minutes really add up and you will see results.

Get an exercise ball and a couple of dumbells. Go to the library and check out an exercise ball workout book or video. Really unexpensive and a ton of very good workouts.

I have been using a foot stool (you can buy a real one in exercise section at some stores) to step on and off of for several years now. I have kept off 100 pounds weight loss doing this, too. For 6-7 days a week and hour a day I do this. I do 30 minutes stepping with right leg and then 30 on left leg. You may not be able to start off so intense. Try 15 a day to start maybe and work up... You could even break it up into 10 minutes and breaks or whatever.
